Unit 1.1 Discussion Board

Q Please know that your initial posts to the Discussion Boards are due by 11:59 p.m. on the Wednesdays of the corresponding week. Be sure that all of your posts are typed directly onto the forum page and not an uploaded document; this will allow your instructor to correct your work in the Blackboard grading center. Respond to at least two of your peers' initial posts by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday. (Note, that if your posts are late, your earned points will be reduced.) Please make sure all of your posts are scholarly and academic. When you respond to your peers' posts, think of yourself as being in a classroom and asked to give feedback; it needs to be more than a "good job." Pay close attention to the criteria for both the initial and peer posts. Have fun and help create a classroom environment that is engaging and focuses on success! For your initial post, share what kind of procrastinator you are. How do you recorganize your day, your family, your career, your school work in a way that is succesful for you. What one major thing would you like to change or strengthen this mod that will help you be successful in this class? Finish your post by asking your classmates a question about their lives that will help us all get to know each other better. Peer Posts: Please respond to your peers by reacting to their thoughts about organization, procrastination, and their daily schedule. Be sure to answer the question that was posed to you. Also, take the time to check in and respond to those who answered your initial questions. In other words, keep the conversation going.

I am a procrastinator when it comes to myself and taking care of my wellbeing. I always wait to the last minute to schedule health appointments, run errands or even take the time to go to the gym. I am always procrastinating to find time to take care of myself because I would rather take care of my family’s needs rather my own.
